About Dr. Lis
Dr. Lis grew up in Shelby Township, Michigan, and obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University in 1992. About this time he decided he wanted to pursue medicine as a career, and orthopedics was a natural extension of his Engineering background. He graduated from Midwestern University in 1999 with his osteopathic medical degree, and went on to finish a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at MSU – McLaren Oakland in 2004. In practice in Clarkston until 2017, he moved his practice to Grand Blanc to be closer to the community he had been serving for many years. Dr. Lis is active in many committees at Ascension Genesys Hospital, and is on the Board of Managers at the Surgery Center at Health Park.
